The Drumheller RCMP arrested and laid charges on three people for stolen vehicles and property offences. On February 11 the Drumheller RCMP were investigating a number of incidents where vehicles had been stolen.

"They came to our attention regarding some vehicles that showed up here from Red Deer and obviously, we have had a number of vehicles in Drumheller disappearing," explained Cpl Rachel Pergunas.

The three people who were arrested were in possession of two stolen vehicles.

"The investigators went out and did some looking around. They managed to arrest these three individuals and charged them with a number of offences. They also had a bunch of stolen property as well as the vehicles," continued Pergunas.

Further investigation revealed they were also in possession of a number of stolen identity documents, stolen ski equipment and an iPhone. They were also charged with multiple breaches of conditions and had multiple outstanding warrants.

"We held them all for bail hearings so they all went before a GP that day. The GP was the one who made the determinations on who got released and who got held," concluded Pergunas.

The three individuals who were arrested were Shae-Lee Lynn Phillips (21), Kenton Wood (25), and Isaiah Nobel (20), all of which come from Red Deer, AB.
