Drumheller and Districts local 4H kids just got back from the trip of a lifetime.
The clubs participated in an exchange and took turns showing off their hometowns.
The group from the east flew in earlier in July and experienced all that the valley had to offer.
In return, the Drumheller kids flew across country to experience their agricultural landscapes.
"We had a meet and greet, and then did some farm tours around the Russell County area. We went to Calypso, which is Canada's largest water park. Then we went downtown Ottawa for two days and we hung around the Navan area," said Drumheller 4H member Danielle Varga.
One of the biggest difference between west and east is dairy versus beef.
"The difference between the dairy cows and how they do beef cows was pretty big and it was pretty cool to see," continued Varga.
Varga also said that it was nice to see the friends she had made while they were here in Drumheller in July.
"My favorite part was probably our family day. My twin, Sydney, took me boating in the Ottawa river and we did a tour of the outside of Parliament from the water. We even went to Quebec and went tubing. It was so much fun," concluded Varga.
