If you've ever wanted to work with the Town of Drumheller, Tuesday's Lunch & Learn was for you. Darryl Drohomerski was on hand at the Drumheller Chamber of Commerce's first Lunch & Learn speaker series of the year.

Marley Henneigh is the Chamber Services Coordinator.

"It was great," she told 99.5 Drum FM. "We had 22 people come out from all sorts of businesses. We had business owners and employees come out. Good turn-out for sure for our first Lunch & Learn of the year."

The Chamber's Lunch & Learn series are a way for Drumheller business community to learn, network and enjoy a spot of lunch.

Tuesday's session was about finding bid opportunities with the Town of Drumheller.

"We were really happy to hear from the Town staff about how our local business can find opportunities to bid on and work with them," said Henneigh. "Here's hoping we have some more local businesses getting work with the town."

Speaker series are held approximately once a month and topics vary.

"We are looking for scheduling one for February for sure," revealed Henneigh. "A couple of the topics we are looking at right now are Bitcoin and Lunch & Learns focused on employee engagement and retention which is important to our local businesses."

Henneigh wanted to thank all those who came out for their participation. Information about future session can be found on the Chamber's website.
