It was a busy day for Campus Alberta Central (CAC) in Drumheller yesterday, May 31 as they held their Community Dialogue Event.
"We invited some members of Drumheller and area to come to our office and discuss a few questions regarding future programming that Drumheller might need for education, post secondary, how people can volunteer or donate their services to help us become bigger and better," stated Dana Davidson, Drumheller Office Manager for CAC.
Drumheller's location had between 15 to 20 people show up.
"We split up into a couple of groups to go through a few questions that we wanted some answers to, like what post secondary programs can we benefit from, what ways would you be able to partner with the Drumheller Community Living Society, what do you see as learning needs or gaps in learning needs within the community," Davidson explained.
"A lot of people took away from here realizing that we offer a lot of services that they didn't realize we offered to the adult learner. They also came up with some great ideas as to some possible future programming that we could come up with."
Campus Alberta Central holds this event once every year or two to get feedback to help them improve.
"We do surveys and other ways to try and get information, but this is a real sit down, let's have a conversation about the gaps or learning needs that may be needed for Drumheller," concluded Davidson.
