The Drumheller Valley was home to droids, trekkies, and ghostbusters on August 18 and 19.
The 2nd Annual Drumheller and Dinosaur Comic Expo brought in all kinds of pop culture fans from all across the province.
"We had so much this year, it was crazy. Last year we had 200 people attend, this year 450, so it definitely grew pretty quick," said Organizer Kalon Sykes.
The event brought in over 30 different vendor booths that included artists, cosplayers, and even a group of Jurassic Park themed jeeps.
"We had a Pikachu costume running around, a live action, life sized R2D2 running around as well. People could take photos with them. We a couple other media guests there, cosplay judges, a couple of writers, some artists came in as well," continued Sykes.
One of the most exciting guests for many locals, was CBC TV star Amber Marshall from the popular drama series, Heartland.
"Everyone was really happy to see Amber. One thing she does that we were really happy with is she doesn't charge extra for photos with her or to sign things.
Your ticket makes sure you get to visit with her, you can take a photo with her, and you can get stuff signed, which is really awesome," praised Sykes.
