RCMP are looking for a couple of would-be thieves who wound up being just vandals.
Around 6:20 Saturday morning, June 17, Beiseker RCMP were called to the convenience store in Linden.
Two men had backed a pickup truck through a wall at the store to gain entry, but they were met by the store owner and fled the scene in their stolen truck.
The truck was recovered, but the thieves have yet to be located. Police are looking for two males with slim builds. Both were wearing ball caps pulled down and balaclavas pulled up over the face. One of them had on an orange shirt.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Beiseker detachment at 403-947-3420 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
