A young area man who did a year behind bars for a bizzare sexual assault in Drumheller is a free man.
Luke Entz completed his incarceration on Tuesday, September 26 and will be residing in the Calgary area, according to a release from Calgary Police Service, which refers to him as a 'high risk' inmate.
Entz pleaded guilty in May of last year to a charge of sexual assault with a weapon and break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.
He was arrested in January, 2016 after a man reportedly forced his way into an apartment and threatened and sexually assaulted the male resident. The 18 year old was also charged with sexual assault, forcible confinement and uttering threats.
Upon his release, Entz will be monitored by the CPS Specialized Offender Management Program.
