Drumheller youth have an opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial skill this summer.

'I'm the Boss' Youth Entrepreneurs Summer Business camps are offered for children in grades 4-9.

"They get to come in for one week, the first three days we teach them about business through games and activities and the last two they get to start up their own business and keep all the money they make," said Mitchell Toffan with Community Futures.

"Each week is the same so we get a new group of kids every week," explained Toffan. "The last few days we teach them to sell."

Businesses last year included a recycling business, a window cleaning business and a sandwich selling business.

"So kids can do teamwork together, some business skills, boost their confidence, it's a very inspiring event and they can use their creativity," added Toffan.
