The Three Hills RCMP were busy yesterday excuting a search warrant an a rural property near Trochu.
"On January 3rd, 2019, Three Hills RCMP along with RCMP Emergency Response Team and the Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit conducted a search warrent on a residence just north of Trochu, Alberta," explained Constable Mike Hibbs from RCMP Media Relations Group.
57 year old Alfred Legacy, of Kneehill County, has been charged with 9 charges including obstuction, possesion of stolen property under $5000, carrying a concealed weapon, and possesion of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Drumheller Provincial Court on January 25th.
Police seized a large amount of electronics and oilfield property that was located at the residences. RCMP are still attempting to identify the owners of the stolen property.
