Three people have been charged in connection with a recent attempted break-in in the Drumheller community of Nacmine.
 
Mid-morning on Thursday, January 11 a woman called RCMP to say two men tried to kick in the door to her house. They fled when she screamed.
 
Police recovered a car matching the suspect vehicle description; it had been stolen out of Bassano. Soon after they recovered a second vehicle and arrested thre people.
 
Charges of break and enter and possession of stolen property have been laid against 34 year old Jaime Nichole Ryan of Drumheller, 38 year old Kayl Edward Libke of Medicine Hat and 30 year old Ronald Joseph Furet of Strathmore.  The latter two are additionally charged with breaching previous court orders.
 
They're expected to appear in Drumheller Provincial Court on January 26.
