Something unique and interesting is coming to Hanna very soon.
The Hanna 'Wall of Fame' is going to be the newest way to celebrate the people of Hanna; past, present and future.
"We own a business on Main Street and next door we bought a lot where on the front of it we have a huge fence with nothing on it. I decided we needed to do something with it and for Hanna, we need a little bit of a positive aura going around," stated Connie Deadlock, creator of the Hanna Wall of Fame.
Deadlock added that as long as there is no profanity and the story is true, it will be posted on the wall.
"It will be about the people, like what have the people accomplished. For example, if they're a marathon runner and at one point they weren't healthy and now they can run a marathon, that's an accomplishment, so we'd do a write on that," expressed Deadlock.
"What I'm hoping to do is people that have gone away from Hanna like hockey players and musicians, I think that kind of stuff needs to be celebrated."
So, how will you get all the information needed for the accomplished people of Hanna?
"What I'm asking is that everyone brings me the information in a typed format and I can either re-type it or keep it as it is. They can include pictures and we will be doing 8.5 by 11 sheets, plus I will be laminating them for weather protection. I am asking that everyone else brings me the information so that I am not forgetting anyone," outlined Deadlock.
