Over the weekend, over 120 vintage and sports cars lined downtown for Boogie in the Badlands.
On 3rd Ave West between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 26 tourists and locals alike could cruise downtown to view vintage cars from decades past or updated cars with impressive engine work.
"It's great to see this many people out. We're up at least 20 per cent up from last year," said organizer Mike Todor. "I'm having a really good time and I love looking at the cars."
Todor had calls from car owners in Medicine Hat to Lloydminster asking to showcase their vehicles this past weekend during Boogie in the Badlands.
"Usually it's one block," explained car lover Dale Armstrong. "Now it's two blocks. There's quite a few (cars) this year."
"With a show this size and the proper weather, it encourages people to come out. It's awesome," Ralph Vienhouse concluded.
