A car theft in Beiseker on the weekend has RCMP asking for help in finding the thieves
 
.RCMP were called out around 8:30 on Saturday morning, July 28 by a resident who said someone took his black Dodge one ton pick-up. The owner tried to stop the thieves and was struck by his own vehicle. he was treated at the scene, but not taken to hospital.
 
A red Kia Sportage and the stolen black pickup fled the village on a rural road. They were spotted a while later by RCMP from Airdrie, who twice tried to chase them but called off the pursuits in the interest of safety.
 
Police are looking for two men and a woman. Anyone who can help is asked to call the Beiseker detachment at 403-947-3420 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
