East Coulee School Museum is preparing for the 23rd Springfest.
With the event being five months away, they have already sent out applications for musical acts and volunteers for the event on May 6 and 7, 2017.
"Debating the headliner, but we have some good choices out there and (are) looking to line up lots of artists and volunteers and people interested in coming out to have great time," stated the Executive Director of the East Coulee School Museum, Barb Steeves.
Steeves explained they are still looking for volunteers to help with the big event.
"We need people that can bartend with Pro-Serve, do security if they have Pro-Tect, we need people to head up security, people to oversee the volunteers, look after the musicians and to serve food."
Throughout 2016 the East Coulee School Museum has been raising funds for a new roof.
"We are still working on the Roof Fund. We have not had any major grants yet, but as soon as we do we will be going yahoo! The main focus of Springfest is just to keep the museum operating through the winter," Steeves commented.
With 2017 fast approaching, the East Coulee School Museum is looking ahead at their events at the beginning of the new year in January.
"I am going to have more information about our January gala soon, our big Robbie Burns dinner and (we) have (more) things coming in January," added Steeves.
