The Drumheller Public Library and FCSS are calling out for all muggles to join their committee.

"The Harry Potter committee will be a group of people, preferably younger people, to get together and plan future Harry Potter events," stated FCSS Coordinator, April Harrison.

"We had so much volunteer support from youth that we thought there was a lot of interest, they have lots of good ideas and we'd love for them to take a key role in organizing the next one. They will lead and we will just offer support with any ideas they come up with," she noted.

There are seven Harry Potter books in the series, plus new ones either being released or recently released.

"We kind of thought about doing it in a sequential way, that's our initial plan, but that's also something that we want to put to this new community. They might want to go with this way and I think it would be nice to do, kind of go with that progression," Harrison explained.

Since the Harry Potter committee is designed for teenagers, any hours put into the committee can be used towards graduation volunteer hours.

Harrison mentioned to 99.5 Drum FM that they are on the search for a Ford Anglia, preferably blue, for the next event.

Contact April Harrison at 403-823-1315 if you'd like to become a committee member.
