Residents of Carbon will go to the polls next month.
A byelection was called soon after the October General Municipal Election to replace Clark Garrett, who resigned shortly after he was sworn in by Mayor Gus Nash.
The deadline for nominations was Tuesday, January 2 and two people submitted their applications. They are: Dan Clow and Judy Quintin-Arvidson.
The Carbon byelection will be held on Feburary 2. The winner will join Mayor Nash, Deputy Mayor Bryan Peever, Keith Bramley and Garrett's wife, Kelly, who also won a council seat in October.
