A local teenager will soon appear between the pages of Ripley's Believe It or Not. Elias Woodford has an interesting talent: he can displace his abdomen.

Proud father Trevor Woodford explained how this happened.

"[Elias] was reading an old Ripley's Believe It or Not book and he came across a gentleman by the name of Anato Hayes from the 1940s, and he was displacing his entire abdomen."

"My son came up and said 'look at this!' and he said 'I can do that'. He went ahead and did it and we were shocked. So, he emailed Ripley's to let them know and they checked it out," continued Woodford.

After verifying Elias' claim, Ripley's sent the thirteen-year-old a certificate and a copy of the 2017-2018 edition of Ripley's Believe It or Not.

"How often do you meet somebody's that's in a regular book, let alone Ripley's or Guinness?" asked Woodford.
