Press release from the Town of Drumheller.

The Town of Drumheller is pleased to announce that the fire alarm system upgrades have been completed and we can confirm the pool will open tomorrow, Saturday December 30.
"We are extremely pleased to have the pool opening tomorrow at 11:30 am for lane swimming and public swimming will be from 1-6 pm," announced Paul Salvatore, Director of Community Services. "We are also thrilled to announce that it will be free swim all weekend to celebrate the opening, and to thank the residents of Drumheller for their patience."
"I want to express my thanks to everyone involved in this project for their hard work in getting this beautiful facility open," added Darryl Drohomerski, CAO of the Town of Drumheller. "In particular I would like to thank the team at the Aquaplex and for the people of Drumheller for their patience."
The pool and steam room will be open this weekend but we are awaiting AHS approval on the hot tub water sample which is expected January 9.
To compensate for the delay in opening all Aquaplex memberships will be extended by the length of the closure.
