On Thursday, December 13, the Drumheller Agriculture Society held their Annual General Meeting.

The meeting elected a full local roster of board members including local returning board member, Marie Hirsch, as the Ag Society President.

"I started on the Ag Society just to be the voice of the Hellraisers. It's my third year now and I'm the President," said Hirsch.

The board is also made up of Ashley Hansen- First Vice President, Robin Duncalf- Second Vice President, Lacey Campbell- Secretary and Joanne Manning- Treasurer.

"It's all local. Now we have more local support."

The Ag Society set their dates for this year's Dinosaur Downs Race Track which will be available to view in the coming months.

"Instead of the board running the board and all of that, we'll still be volunteering and everything, we will have a committee that takes care of the racing. Roger Bonnyville will be heading that up."

Hirsch wants to thank her new board team as well as shout out the previous board members and is excited for what's in store for the new board in 2019.
