In its eighth year running, the Adopt an Angel program was a big success in the valley.
"We weren't expecting it to be this big. We still have a lot of people coming in asking if anything is still available, so it is really nice. It actually went over well this year," mentioned Randi Schmidt, a personal banker with Scotiabank.
They are still looking for any type of donations until December 20 and they can be dropped off at the Drumheller branch. Schmidt added that the gifts should remain anonymous and unwrapped.
"Anything like I said before; tissues, soaps, lotions, fuzzy socks, (and) anything like that. We are most certainly still accepting those," added Schmidt.
The gifts will be going to different elderly residents around the valley such as continuing care, mental health and the lodges.
"Just wanted to say a huge thank you for everybody that's make this possible and everybody that has helped out with us and hope everyone has a wonderful holiday," expressed Schmidt.
