A Castor man accused of murdering his family members took the stand in his own defense yesterday.
Jason Klaus had earlier admitted to an undercover police officer that he and Joshua Frank planned the murders together, while Frank was the actual triggerman.
On Tuesday, he changed his story, claiming it was an attempted robbery at his family's home near Castor that went horribly wrong when Frank went rogue.
Klaus and Frank are each charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Gordon and Sandra Klaus and their daughter Monica Klaus four years ago.
Klaus has yet to be cross-examined by the Crown.
