A Big Valley teen had a once in a lifetime experience this past Sunday, June 25 as her Make A Wish dream came true.

Ayrianna Daycheif, who suffers from Neurofibromatosis, was dolled up for a surprise Hollywood Starlet party.

"We had so much fun bringing Hollywood north. It was a combination of staff, volunteers and lots of planning, we had a number of different performers and actors; it was just a wonderful afternoon," stated Kim Anthony, Chief Executive Officer for Make A Wish Southern Alberta.

"It was so great to see Ayrianna full of joy, so excited and her entire family and friends being there; that's really what it's all about."

The Hollywood starlet party in Ayrianna's honour included celebrity impersonators, other performers and a surprise Hollywood award.

"To see the smile on Ayrianna's face all day and to see her joy, that's just so heartwarming. It's amazing for the staff, for our volunteers and it just made everyone's day," expressed Anthony.

Ayrianna Daychief's event turned out to be the 500th wish granted from Make A Wish Southern Alberta.

"It was our 500th, we were very excited about that too. It's wonderful to look over the last many years on the wishes and look forward to the next 500," concluded Anthony.
