The Drumheller Public Library will be playing host to a professional artists next week.

"The Alberta Foundation of the Arts has a program called TREX, which is a travelling exhibition program. We have a show in our gallery from TREX this month and in conjunction with that, TREX has offered us a painting workshop," outlined Janet Mason, Library Clerk at the Drumheller Public Library.

So, what will the workshop consist of?

"It's a 3 dimensional painting workshop with professional artist Wendy Struck. It will be on Monday, August 21 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.," Mason explained. "I think she will have a workshop planned that's using different materials, not just paint. She'll have a lot of hands on instructions for beginning artists or those who are more experienced."

Pre-registration is required and it can be done by contacting the Drumheller Public Library at 403-823-1371.
