High school graduates have a great opportunity to get more scholarships, this one being from the Town of Drumheller.

"It's for people who are graduating from high school and going on to post secondary education. It's a $500 scholarship based over four years, so if you win the first year you need to just bring me your re-enrolment and your passing grades for the rest of the three years," stated Judy Quintin-Arvidson, Community Services Coordinator for the Town of Drumheller.

Quintin-Arvidson expressed that there is a lot of great kids who are going on to further their education. Some years they receive tons of applications, but some years they don't.

"I have the applications here (Town of Drumheller) and online as well. You can go right to our announcements page and it will take you right to the application form," she noted.

The scholarship is handed out at the Celebration of Excellence, which is coming up on April 8.

"Although I do have an extended date of March 31 to get your applications in, they should be in sooner than later because it doesn't give my committee very much time to chose a winner," Quintin-Arvidson outlined.
