On Sunday March 4, the Badlands Community Facility partnered with Canalta Hotels to bring you the 4th Annual Wedding Show here in the Valley.

Erica Crocker is Program Administrator for the Wedding Show.

"Despite the weather we still had good attendance, but the weather definitely put a little wrench in our spokes," she told 99.5 Drum FM.

"We probably had about 100 to 200 people come in throughout the day, and we had three vendors not show up because of the weather," said Crocker, who added they would have loved to have those vendors there, but are very grateful for the ones who were able to make it.

Crocker advised that they had some awesome door prizes, and the winner for the Grand Prize Draw will be announced at a later date.

"Cottonwood, unfortunately was not able to provide a fashion show for us. They were unable to come; they are in High River and they were snowed in. So fortunately, the Tickle Trunk, which is a boutique based out of Three Hills, provided a last minute fashion show for us," commented Crocker.

With this year's Wedding Show coming to a close, they are gearing up and starting to plan the 5th annual Wedding Show, which will take place on Sunday March 3, 2019.
