It was a busy weekend at Dinosaur Downs Speedway as they held their next to last racing weekend of the season.

The action on Saturday and Sunday, September 8-9, featured IMCA Modified racers, along with Hobby Stocks and Minis.

Series veteran Garth Dushanek drove his #56 car to first place in the Modified races. Jesse Fitzpatrick was 2nd, followed by Wane Stuber.

The Hobby Stocks winnert his past weekend was Kelly Jones, who drove the #99 car. Tim Comeau was runner up,  followed by Jason Koska.

The women made their mark in the Mini Stocks, with Emma Fitzpatrick taking the title. Alex Greer was 2nd, while Austin Woods was 3rd.

Race fans also got to say good-bye to driver Dennis Wurst, who made Drumheller his last stop after a racing career that began back in 1980.
