The hockey season is just around the corner and the Drumheller Dragons are short a few volunteers.

They will be hosting an information night at the Drumheller Memorial Arena for anyone interested in volunteering for the hockey team this coming year.

"We actually have it set for August 22 in the arena upstairs," said Nicky Faye, business manager with the Drumheller Dragons. "It will be at 6:00p.m and there will be coffee and donuts. It's very informative and we'll be talking about everything the volunteers are needed for."

"We need ticket takers, we need people to run the ticket booth, we need people to run the 50/50, we need off ice officials," explained Faye. "There are so many positions that are available and we just need them to be filled."

"Our games definitely wouldn't happen without the volunteers, they are so important to the organization and if you would like to volunteer just give me a call," she concluded.

Anyone interested in volunteering for the Drumheller Dragons can contact Faye at (403)-823-2022.
