Quite a number of voters took advantage of voting ahead of election day in Canada, Alberta, and both the Battle River-Crowfoot and Bow River ridings.
Nationally, 7,280,975 people voted in the advance polls, which was nearly 1.4 million more than in the past federal election. In Alberta, 815,131 have cast their votes, compared to 646,090 in 2021.
In the Battle River-Crowfoot riding, 14,434 votes have been cast. With 84,556 eligible voters within the riding, just over 17 percent of voters have already marked their “X”. In the Bow River riding, more people took advantage of the advanced polls. 21,974 voters have voted through the advanced polls of the 83,843 eligible voters which is just over 26 percent of the vote.
