The Town of Drumheller is excited to announce that long-awaited repairs to the Drumheller Aquaplex indoor hot tub are officially moving forward this summer. Beginning June 1, 2025, the indoor pool will temporarily close to accommodate this important upgrade, while the outdoor pool will remain open, just in time for the summer season.
The hot tub repair project has been awarded to Pinnacle Aquatics Group and is currently tracking under budget. The upgraded hot tub is expected to be complete and ready for use by September 9, 2025, when the indoor pool is scheduled to reopen, and the outdoor pool will close for the season.
“This is great news for our community,” says Victoria Chan, the Town’s Chief Financial Officer and Director of Corporate and Community Services. “We recognize the Aquaplex is a vital part of our local lifestyle. While the indoor pool closure may affect some routines, we’re maintaining a high level of service through the outdoor pool and flexible programming to ensure residents, user groups and visitors continue to enjoy aquatic activities all summer long.”
