Signs of spring are crocuses in bloom, snow melting, and the annual Stettler Trade Show. This weekend, the Stettler Recreation Centre will be filled with vendors from all across the province.
The three day event has been a staple in Stettler for decades, according to Byron Geddes, Executive Director of the Stettler Board of Trade and Development, organizers of the trade show. “We have a very good group of businesses that have come forward. We have sold our trade show out, it is big. We are very proud of it and have been doing it for over 40 years. It’s been a fantastic run for us and another sold out show this year.”
For the 2025 edition of the Stettler Trade Show there is something for everyone. “We’ve got a little bit of everything for everybody. We’ve got lots of food vendors, arts, all sorts of businesses from soup to nuts, flower shops to farm implements, you name it we’ve got it there. Super excited for it.”
The trade show is great for Stettler residents but is a great draw according to Geddes. “We do get tons of people from out of town for our trade show. It is very well attended and we seem to be breaking records every year in attendance. It is becoming more known throughout the Central Alberta area.” It is not just vendors but there are many entertainers throughout the weekend, and one of the favourites is the the “wind tunnel” full of prizes.
The show is on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Stettler Recreation Centre. For more information, check out the Stettler Trade Show website as well as the Stettler Board of Trade and Destination Stettler’s websites.
