As we close on the end of 2024 there were a number of big stories that happened throughout the Drumheller Valley.
One of the most viewed story on Drumheller Online this year was the report of a head on collision on Highway 9 near the Carbon Corner intersection back in November – Serious Collision Near Carbon Corner.
There were a number of police incidents in Drumheller and East Central Alberta that many checked out on our page.
One of the positive stories that garnered interest was the opening of No Frills in the Drumheller Valley. There was quite a bit of excitement of the conversion of the Extra Foods store to No Frills – No Frills Open To Shoppers Today
Finally, a big project that many were looking forward to being able to use, opened in 2024. Kohut Crossing is now open so that pedestrians and bike riders can cross the Red Deer River between Midland and Nacmine / Newcastle – Kohut Crossing Open
2025 is on the way so it will be interesting what makes the headlines this upcoming year.
