A bold and exciting move for a local real estate brokerage, Century 21 PowerRealty.ca brings the announcement that this well recognized local real estate brokerage has joined up with Century 21 Masters to become a province wide force. The change aligns the firm with a preexisting brokerage that now has a widespread collection of over 180 agents across the province.
These agents bring professionalism, ethics and a focus on custom service while assisting their clients real estate needs in over 50 communities. The Century 21 Masters leadership team has ownership roots back to 2004, with James Mabey and Geneva Tetreault joining their existing brokerages together in 2019 and Bob Sheddy joining them in 2024. “The goal of creating a province wide brokerage is not a new one but it is quite uncommon for a traditional franchise brokerage to make a leap like this.” Said Geneva Tetreault, head of recruiting and training for the brokerage. “We started to find that agents across Alberta wanted to join the brokerage in spite of us not having an office presence in their community but rather to join an office with a cohesive culture surrounding education excellence.”
James Mabey, who also happens to be this year’s Canadian Real Estate Association Chair for 2024/25, is excited about this new direction. James commented on how his goal was never to be the biggest brokerage but rather to measure his success based on the quality of the people around him. When presented with the opportunity, it was an easy decision, said Bob Sheddy who shared that he is most excited about the referral opportunities that have naturally presented themselves within the 180 agents who have already been working alongside each other for the past 15 months.
