UPDATE: In December of 2023, Three Hills RCMP initiated a fraud investigation involving a meat purchase scam with a company named DBL Meats. The victims were defrauded over $60, 000. Through the investigation, Krysta-Lyn Williams, a 36-year-old female resident of Penticton, British Columbia, was charged with fraud over $5000, and a warrant for her arrest was issued.
Three Hills RCMP located Krysta-Lyn Williams in Picton, Ontario. With the assistance of Ontario Provincial Police, Krysta-Lyn Williams was arrested on Nov. 28, 2024, and remanded into custody. She is currently being transported to Airdrie and will be appearing in Alberta Court of Justice in Airdrie on Dec. 4, 2024.

The company was reported to be based in Kelowna, British Columbia, and was said to provide fresh farm products to customers in Canada.
The 16 victims sent DBL Meats approximately $60,000 CAD through e-transfer for meat products that were not delivered as promised. Investigation has determined DBL Meats is not a legitimate company and had fraudulently obtained money from the victims.
Krysta-Lyn Williams, a 36-year-old female resident of Penticton, British Columbia, has been charged with fraud over $5000, and a warrant for her arrest has been issued. If you have any knowledge of her whereabouts, please contact your local police.
