The Drumheller Dragons have announced their upcoming exhibition and regular season schedule for the 2024-2025 season.
The Dragons will take to the ice for six exhibition games, three home and three on the road, starting on August 30th against the Camrose Kodiaks in Camrose. Their first home exhibition action is on August 31st as they will play host to the Kodiaks. The Dragons regular season will start off on the road on Friday, September 13th as they visit the Olds Grizzlys. The two teams will be in Drumheller the next night, Saturday, September 14th, at 7 PM at the Memorial Arena. There are only four midweek games for the Dragons this year with the majority being played on the weekends. The season will stretch further into March this year with the final game being at the Memorial Arena on Friday, March 14th.
One of the big highlights of the season will come on Saturday, January 18th as the Dragons will play in Canmore against the Eagles. That day is Hockey Day In Canada from Canmore. The AJHL, Eagles, and Dragons will all get national coverage with the likes of Ron MacLean and the analysts from Hockey Night In Canada.
